Joan's abstract expressionist styled artwork employs a dynamic, explorative approach to contemporary art. Her passion for nature, interior design and fashion merge, to create emotionally charged landscapes.

Joan Blond is an abstract expressionist and contemporary artist based in the Yarra Valley, Victoria. Inspiration for her paintings comes from the lush countryside where she lives in Yellingbo where the landscape consists of rolling hills and vineyards.

Joan also takes many cues from fashion, contemporary design and her love of interior design. She loves colour which is evident in much of her unique, abstract artwork, but also enjoys painting neutral works with a calming palette.
